Making Melted Crayon Ornaments

This was also a new project for me but a lot of fun. I started with clear glass ornaments and large box of Crayola crayons. I used a small hot air tool to melt the wax. Break colors in pieces about 1-2 inches and add any color into the glass ball. The wax melts fairly fast and I rotated the ornament until all the wax was melted and adhered to the glass.

I used a dowel to hold and turn the ornament while the wax melted. It made the process much easier.

I made these multiple ways. I made some one color at a time letting the wax dry between colors and others I added the colors in all at once.

And now they are ready for the tree.

This was an easy project for very colorful and individually unique ornaments.
