I live in the country on a pond in the state of Louisiana. I love the outdoors, gardening, rustic crafts and amateur photography.  I started this blog to share craft and hobby ideas. I also wanted an outlet for the simple life here in the rural south. I have discovered so much more than I ever expected through this eclectic community of bloggers. Their talents in writing and poetry, photography and drawing, travel and life experiences have inspired me beyond my small world. The experience is waking up my soul! I truly believe we can all be inspired by others and become better people ourselves.
