Spring is my favorite time of year. The garden is in full bloom, and all the couples return to enjoy the beautiful warm days.
I always look forward to their return in hopes of seeing the new offspring. They bring such joy and happiness and a lot of laughter.
The landscape just comes to life with their antics and energy. I love the varieties and colors, and for a brief season get to really enjoy the wonderful birds of spring.

These are gorgeous images. You must have a very good camera and telephoto lens. What is the little black bird with the red breast?

Thank you so much Brad! I use a simple canon powershot with zoom, and it does pretty good. And that is a red breasted grosbeak. They are so pretty and colorful, and this was the first year I had quite a few at the feeders. I’m so happy you enjoyed them! 😃
