The Colors of Winter

Winter is my least favorite time to be outside. I miss gardening and flowers, and I look forward to the warm days of spring.

One thing I do love about winter is how the birds and wildlife stand out in the leafless landscape.

This year our area received a rare snow and ice that brought out so many varieties of birds, and it was a beautiful palette of the colors of winter.

I hope everyone is having a safe and warm winter. 😃

      Ken it was a rare treat for us to get snow and ice, and it really did make the birds stand out. I’m not a huge fan of the cold but it was definitely worth it this year. 😃
