Zinnias

on

Fall has arrived, and Zinnias are one of the few remaining summer blooms. Hummingbirds and butterflies love to take advantage of the last bright blast of color before the first frost.

Zinnias are an easy flower to grow from seed, and they come in so many varieties and colors. The seeds from the blooms can be saved and replanted every year.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful fall! 😊

Those were a variety of zinnias that just came up from last year’s seeds, and the birds and butterflies went crazy over them. They really were so much fun to watch! 😃

I like to pull off the heads when they die and save seeds to plant next year. It makes for some interesting combinations and some mutations.
